Too slow in response. I won’t be buying any coins.

Most reviewers have already pointed out that this version isn’t exactly free. You get to plan for a little while, and then the program stops unless you buy “coins”. Another thing that drove me crazy was that occasionally I would be studying my hand when the order of my cards would suddenly be shuffled so that the cards were no longer in numerical order. I suspect the pause causes the interface to assume I am counting cards, so it tries to prevent this by the shuffle. This is really dirty pool, since the robots count cards instantaneously. This happened several times, so I know that it is intentional. The AI should be written to simulate how humans play, and that means not dumping the queen on the high scorer, which also happened several times. Also, the high scorer would begin to lead cards in an intentional move to lose.

Im sorry, but this type of advertising should be banned. Free is Free, Extremely misleading. Now im just uninstalling it.

How this game be free when you got to buy coins to continue playing. A big RIPOFF!!! Will be deleting this as soon as I finish this review. Pretting sorry to advertising the game as free and then ask for money to play the game after you spend the coins.

It’s a well programmed game I suppose but after a while, you have to buy these stupid “coins” to keep playing. No way.

This is really false advertising! If it was apparent from that start that “free” time was limited it would be OK. But when it stops you in the middle of a game and says that you have to buy coins this is a crock!

The recent revisions make the game better because the previous version of the app made the game fairly predictable as to how cards would be played by opponents (easier to “shoot the moon, etc.). The latest edition is more challenging. As for complaints about the coins, they are relatively cheap & are required fairly infrequently.

This is an okay game but not one of the best out there. Couple of things could be improved to make this a better game. First they other players sometimes think they are playing “give-away”. They just keep playing to lose which means that the lowest players then wins and it usually isn’t me. Second is the object should be to try and win yourself not drop the queen on the human player regardless of the score. When all real (human) players are playing they attempt to either “shoot the moon” to give evryone else 26 points or give the queen to whomever is lowest in points. I have another Hearts game on my PC that is much better to play. You have an even chance with it. I like to way your game closes out the hand if there is no more point cards out or if someone has the rest of the tricks. Speeds the game up some. When there are so many free games out there, I will never pay for a game tht is supposed to be free!

THIS latest "NEW IMPROVED" version is no such thing. NOW it is NO LONGER FREE! Shame on these people. One must now purchase coins to play - how is that FREE??? AND one has to CONTINUE to purchase coins even AFTER purchase of the $10 version. The length of play PER COIN is not even given - it is endless purchase of coins in all versions! Id pay the $10 but then still have to buy coins to play. SO sad; I used to have fun with this game - now I will uninstall and find something else to play. SHAME on these people!! I am totally turned off of ANY games made by this company.

Just as I was starting to enjoy this game it told me I *must* buy coins or not play. That stinks!! As an aside, the other flaw with the game is that it doesn’t let you un-pick the pass cards. Every once in a while I noticed I could recall the 1st card selected, but once I picked a 2nd card I couldn’t find a way to put either card back. This really stinks if you accidentally click a card by mistake or just change your mind. Until I hit “pass” I should be able to change the pass cards.

play a few games then bang they got you. Now come the hitch! you are done with playing free if you want to play more you pay——try and delete it good luck false advertising!

visuals, speed of game are good. Improvement needed—frequency of unreasonable attempts at “shooting the moon” discredit the game.

I really enjoy playing this. I win more often than not anymore. When I first started playing I hardly ever one. It is a good way to pass the time. Im not a TV watcher.

This game is not free. Look for a better app, unless you want to pay a fee everytime you play a game.

The last update rigged it to be a PAY-FOR app. With all the other available options out there, this is a complete UNINSTALL for me.

I can’t acces the game anymore, constantly takes me to a page asking for me to get more coins or access a friend. What happened?

This is a fun game but the fun is killed pretty quickly when scoring isn’t recorded correctly!

Seller listed as works on 10.6.6 and later - lier lier, pants on fire! I installed it on 10.6.8 and tried to open it but crashed (would not open or run but it did generate a nice Crash Report which I forwarded to Apple). Dont waste your time with this App unless you like deleting software because that is what youll need to do with this crappy application.

When I downloaded this app, it was a bit buggy, but it was free. It’s still buggy, but now I’m forced to make in-app purchases to buy coins if I want to continue playing the game. I made one purchase of 100 coins. 28 games later I have only 35 coins left. It’s supposed to cost 1 coin per game… and, no matter how many times I do the math, 28+35 does NOT equal 100. So, not only was I forced to purchase coins to play this buggy game… but there are bugs in the game that are eating my coins faster than they should! This game is definitely not worth continually investing in, and I’m not going to pay $9.99 to play a game I can download elsewhere for free. As soon as my coins are gone, so am I.
