I have been playing versions of hearts for 40 years. There are some flaws in this version that should be fixed. 1. Have the ability to change the cards you are passing. By mistake you could pass the wrong card and can’t make a correction, why not? When you select your 3 cards, there should be a review, edit, change, confirm the pass. 2. When a player is down to all hearts and the queen of spades in the hand, and hearts are not broken, and this player has the lead, the player should be given the opportunity to lead either a heart or the queen of spades. 3. Way to complicated to select players, create players, and start a game. Good game, but these changes would be much better. Maybe these changes could be built into the options feature?

Thiis game is fun, the way a good game should be.

Since I updated the app, all I get is an error message... Whats up??

This game keeps dropping my internet, it totally shuts off my wifi every time I try to connect. Why are only the positive posts posted? Why are the true posts not posted and the issues fixed?

It is an OK app, but a MAJOR flaw is that you actually see where in an opponent’s hand they pull their three cards to pass. Knowing the set up of all hands allows you to tell whether they pass a heart, all clubs etc. Players know this and understandably wait to see opponent passes before they themselves pass. this really needs to be fixed to have fair games.

I’ve played a lot of Hearts (real and virtual) and I really love this app. It’s the best Hearts app I have used. Great graphics, options and stats.

Talk about money hungry!! All of a sudden with the new upgrade you need to buy coins to play and if none of your friends play it forces you to purchase. I will be deleting this app as soon as I am finished typing this message. Why do you have to ruin a good thing?

when want to kill time :) simple and fast

The App Store automatically updated “Heart’s Free” in my system. Then when I tried to open the updated version it, my players were gone and now it’s requiring me to register. I’ve enjoyed the program in the past but no longer. I deleted it immediately. There’s better programs available.

Enjoyable game, even without going online and playing with real people.

I previously wrote a review about how to get around some of the bugs and new features of this game. However, after playing version 2.50 for about a week and a half, I suddenly got a message saying that I need “coins” to play the game, which have to be bought with real live money. (I’m not talking about an online game; this is just playing by myself, against the computer.) Upgrading to 2.54 didn’t change this. I’d be willing to pay a few dollars for the app, but I’m not going to pay as I go to use it. I wish you abject failure with this update, Grass Games.

A big uptick from the older versions. One improvement might be an “undo” function, so if one hits the wrong key the damage can be repaired.

Well, I have not experienced having to pay anything to play this game, and I appreciate that they addressed some of the shortcomings - like the fake way the computer players seemed to be struggling to decide what cards to pass, but it is now slow on the wrap up. It’s still like playing with my wife and waiting for the conversation to come back to the game. I don’t try and play online but just to kill a little time. It would be nice to play more and wait less.

Randomly hearts will hang. At first, you aren’t able to do anything. Then you have to force a quit! We should be refunded our money!!!!

Upgraded to version 2.54 and now the computer players play like they are on crack. Liked the previous version much better.

I like to play hearts however Grassgames really missed the mark on this one. Why do they demand you use social media to spread their gospel? I hate the idea they want to force users to bow to their demands. They are taking the wrong direction if they want to grow. Right direction if they want to end up like Sears. Don’t waste your time with this version of hearts.

Real nice, everytime you get knocked off line you lose coins, eventually you get knocked off enough you have to purchase coins to continue to play. Nice strategy on setting the players up to fail. This new update will fail as well, but I wont have to worry about it because after this is posted the app will be deleted. Thanks for nothing.
